Chicago

In February we went to Chicago. There was a huge Auto Show and that's where Jesse served his mission. We should have waited and gone in the summer time because it was cold. It was a great trip, even though it was cold and when the wind blew it made it much colder. We were able to see the sights of the city and see some of the familys that Jesse taught. On the Sunday that we were there we went to one of the wards that Jesse served in and it was a spanish ward. I didn't understand a word that was said, but the people welcomed us and were very kind. Every day we rode the "El", which is just the train. But that was a totally new experience. People were on the train everyday either to get out of the city or going to the city and there were all kinds of people. It would be early in the morning and no one the train but us and few other people, so it would be a silent ride until someone got on and started talking to themself. But it was a great trip and hopefully we'll get to go back again.

It looks like you had a blast. Even though it was cold it is fun to visit other parts of the country. Welcome to the blogging life, so far I am enjoying my own blog and everyone elses as well.

I have never been to Chicago. It looks like you enjoyed it. Your trip to California sounds fun. Where will you be going? We love going to San Diego and LA (Disneyland). I also like Logan. You're lucky to live there.

It looks like your trip was so cold. You've definitely got to back in the summer. We loved our trip to Chicago. The magnificent mile, the architectual boat ride tour, Navy Pier, the Art Institute of Chicago, and Sears Tower were among my favorites.
